Privacy and personal data policy

How GEN.STUDIO design studio collects and handles the personal data that you leave in the request form on this site. Short and to the point.

Who handles the data

The controller of your personal data is: Jednoosobowa działalność gospodarcza GEN.STUDIO by Aleh Seliviorstsikau, NIP 5833476060, Gdańsk, Republic of Poland.

What data we collect

Only what you type into the request form yourself:

• name;
• phone number with the country code;
• email address;
• the task description in the «A little about your project» field;
• a link to cloud storage with your brief, specification or reference files, if you choose to add one.

Nothing at all is collected in secret here. The site sets no cookies, loads no counters and no analytics, does not track your behavior and builds no profiles of any kind. The data reaches us at a single moment: when you press «Send».

Videos in the portfolio are embedded from YouTube in the no-tracking mode (the youtube-nocookie.com domain) and load only after you click the preview yourself. Before that click there is no player and no player script on the page at all.

On what basis

The basis of the processing is your own consent. You give it freely when you fill in the form and press the «Send» button. The processing follows the GDPR, known in Poland as RODO.

The consent can be withdrawn at any moment, and the procedure for that is described in the section «Your rights».

What we use it for

• to get in touch about the request you left;
• to clarify the task, price it and set the timeline;
• to prepare a commercial proposal and discuss it with you;
• to correspond with you about the project once the work has started.

The data is never used for mailings or advertising. Requests do not feed any marketing database.

How long we keep it

Request data stays in the studio mailbox until the consent is withdrawn, but no longer than 3 years from the date of the request. Once that term ends, the correspondence holding your data is deleted.

No file of yours is ever stored on the site itself: the form carries only a link to the files, and never the files themselves.

Who we pass it to

The request goes out as one letter to [email protected]. Besides the studio staff, the data is seen only by:

• the hosting provider on whose servers this site runs and through whose mail server the letter is sent to us;
• state authorities, in those cases where the law demands it of us;

The data is neither passed nor sold to third parties for advertising or commercial ends.

How we protect it

The site runs over HTTPS, the form is submitted over a secure connection, the letter travels over SMTP with SSL encryption. Access to the studio mailbox is limited to the staff who run the projects. Passwords and service settings are kept outside the public part of the site.

Your rights

You have the right to:

• learn which of your data we handle and to whom exactly that data has been passed on;
• demand that inaccurate or incomplete data be corrected;
• withdraw the consent and demand that the handling stop and that the data be deleted;
• complain about our actions to UODO, the Polish data protection authority.

To make use of any one of these rights, simply write us a letter at [email protected]. We answer within 15 days. Withdrawal of consent is carried out in the same term.

Changes to the policy

If the policy changes, the new version appears on this page and the date it takes effect at the top of the document is updated.
